Challenge #4: Ziplining

Ziplining is a combination of adventure, nature and thrill, which is why the it's perfect end to this adrenaline pumping day.

You'll be provided with safety instructions, gloves, helmets and harnesses before gliding across various cables all of different heights and lengths. This particular challenge will let you see nature from a new perspective and provide a different kind of adrenaline thrill!

After your ziplining adventure, we'll drop you back off at your hotel for some rest and relaxation after this active and adventurous day.

You’ll bike  through the Costa Rica countryside that moves in and out of small villages and across rolling hills until you reach our private put-in at the Balsa River.

Challenge #3: White Water Rafting on the Balsa River

True to the Desafio name, which means “challenge” in Spanish, rafting on the Balsa River will challenge you yet again as you paddle down class 2-3 rapids with a professional rafting guide. Other than experiencing a variety of rapids, you'll glide through calm sections of the river, providing plenty of opportunity for wildlife viewing.

After white water rafting, you'll be taken to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch before heading to your next thrill: ziplining.

This Gravity Falls Zipline Combo combines four of the most epic, adventurous  tours in the La Fortuna area, allowing you to experience the most breathtaking nature of all kinds- canyon, river, countryside and rainforest.

Challenge #1: Gravity Falls     Waterfall Jumping

Gravity Falls is a multi-sport activity that involves using your whole body to rappel, cliff jump, climb and hike through a rustic natural canyon located in the middle of the pristine rainforest.

Dive right into the adrenaline rush with the first 140-foot rappel down a lush waterfall. As you reach the bottom, you’ll let go of the rope and drop into a cool crystalline pool beneath the waterfall and swim into shore. Then, keep walking and you’ll jump down a  series of waterfalls and cliffs that range between 10 and 30ft. Your professional guides will be there every step of the way to motivate and encourage you throughout the tour.

Challenge #2: Mountain Biking

After catching your breath from waterfall jumping, you will be provided with high quality mountain bikes and gear for your trek towards the Balsa River. Feel free to use the bathrooms and change rooms to change into your biking clothes. Snacks and refreshments will be provided for you before your bike ride begins.
